Our trained therapy animals join sessions as active participants. not props. Research consistently shows that the presence of animals lowers cortisol, releases oxytocin, and creates safety that makes honest conversation possible. Our therapy animals are Canine Good Citizens who show up to work ready to help. Sessions are in-person at our Pottstown, PA and Fleetwood, PA locations.
Side-by-side conversation feels different than face-to-face. Walking, breathing outdoor air, and moving your body unlocks something that sitting still sometimes cannot. Walk & Talk sessions take place on our private nature trail in Pottstown, and our farm walk in Fleetwood, available year-round. Comfortable shoes are the only required homework.
Pennsylvania and New Jersey-wide. No commute, no waiting room, no explaining to your coworkers where you’re going at 2pm. Virtual sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform and are identical in clinical quality to in-person care.
Evidence-based, person-centered therapy in a warm, non-judgmental space. If you need a couch and a box of tissues, we have those too. We just don’t think that’s all therapy has to be. Members of our team are trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy.
Therapeutic work conducted in the wide open space and fresh air of Willow Run, a working farm in Fleetwood, PA. Available for individual sessions. Grounding, regulating, and unlike anything you’ve tried before.
Official facilitators of the Path & Paws ™ program. This 8-week stress management program was built for you AND your dog. It's not therapy. It's not dog training. It's something almost as powerful and just as special. A structured, group experience built around the bond you already have with your animal. You bring your dog. We bring science, structure, and a community of people who also love their animals more than most people. Three cohorts per year. Spots are limited. Learn more.
Comprehensive, clinically rigorous assessments conducted by licensed clinicians. Every assessment is completed thoughtfully, documented, and in full compliance with federal fair housing regulations. We take this seriously and will ask every client to agree to therapy (not necessarily with us) if prescribed an ESA Letter. Please note we are assessing the needs of the human to obtain an ESA; we are not assessing the animal. Animals should only be assessed by veterinarians with a behaviorism specialty.
Grief is grief. Losing an animal is a real loss and it deserves real support. Our pet loss support group meets monthly and is free. It is facilitated by clinicians who understand that the bond you have with your pet not incidental to a person’s life. It is often central to it. Contact El Hyder Kim, LCSW for details on the next group.
