Path & Paws™ at Unleashed Counseling

Path & Paws™ is an 8-week wellness program that uses your relationship with your dog to build real, everyday stress relief. It was developed by a mental health professional and a canine behavior expert, and it's grounded in psychology and the human-animal bond.

It is not therapy. It is not dog training. It's something entirely its own.

 This program is for people who feel stressed or overstimulated even when life is generally fine. People who want practical tools, not more theory. People who love their dog and already feel better after time together. It is not appropriate for people currently in crisis or seeking treatment for trauma or acute mental health concerns. 

 Over 8 weeks, you'll alternate between 1:1 meetings with a Human Expert and small groups led by the Dog Expert. You'll learn simple, repeatable practices that fit into ordinary life. You and your dog will discover how to use movement, stillness, and connection. Your dog will need to know basic cues to participate. They're not here to be trained. They're here as your partner to lead you to a calmer life.

 We run three Path & Paws™ cohorts per year. Groups are kept small on purpose, so every participant gets real attention and the group itself becomes part of the support. Registration opens to our waitlist first. If this sounds like what you and your pup have been looking for, reach out now.
